16 hi @Doreensfree lets get em!
  12. Welcome aboard @Dianne and congratulations on taking back your life. I'm sorry you're not feeling well but you'll be happy to know that you'll recover much quicker when you quit smoking so I hope you start feeling better soon. Quitting can cause some anxiety in the beginning and some of us have asked our Dr for temporary meds to help. Since you don't have a Dr you can try drinking juices and lots of water to help get the nicotine out of your system faster. Water also helps break up the phlegm We have a great group of quitters here who can support you through the quit process as well as a ton of great and educational posts and videos about our addiction. You can do it, we're all proof

    Stayed up late
  15. Well done @Kate18, I think we smoked for so long that there may always be the occasional crave pop up. Luckily though we've learned enough about our addiction to know we never want to go back to day one again! Hope you feel better soon
  16. Congratulations @Barb63 on now being past the hardest month of them all. You're doing great and I hope your journey gets easier each day for you
  17. Congratulations on being one month free today @Gus, you're doing great!

  20. Great idea for a thread @Linda, can you add your stay on the train post to it?
  21. Yay @Gus, good for you at realizing you don't need no stinking cigarette! Well done
  22. Good to see you @stzr500, thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sure it'll help a lot of new quitters, and congratulations on your great quit
  23. Didn't ask you

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
