You can get really charged up by quitting smoking. You will be changing your life so much for the better ! The benefits are enormous and continue throughout your life. You will have quantum leaps in self respect, self confidence, self esteem and will have earned a profound trust in yourself. These are some of the gifts you will give yourself by becoming free of nicotine addiction. Sure, you may have some difficult moments but, nothing you cannot handle. You have the ability to quit. I hope you make the commitment, John David Baker. It will be one of the best decisions of your life. I quit cold turkey. Nicotine is pretty much out of your body in a few days. Then, it is a matter of changing your patterns and putting your brain to work for you. It isn't complicated. Not One Puff Ever.

I can't help but think that not only are there true believers in nicotine addiction but, that the tobacco industry may have a v. large hand in this. Big Tobacco relies on people addicted to their products and would not hesitate to set up these sites and troll them ardently.

You must make the commitment to yourself to Never Take Another Puff, Not One Puff Ever. This is the only way you will conquer the addiction. I got a stroke it didn’t just happen to someone else

We are so lucky to have you on the planet and have you helping us here on QTrain, Chris. Hope you are mending well and savoring each and every day. The sooner people quit smoking the less risk they will have of stroke, heart disease, and a plethora of other, sometimes fatal, health issues. Life is too precious to smoke it all away. S You know, I may still die of a smoking related illness but, the quality of my life has vastly improved with being smoke/nicotine free The quality of my death is something I think about and I will not be tortured by feeding the addiction or be in withdrawals. I will die a free person. -

The withdrawal symptoms may be uncomfortable but, they are survivable. Each crave and trigger you conquer deserves a reward so, think of nice things to pamper yourself with.

You can get through this. You can ! Take beautiful clean clear breaths, drink some cold water. Take a brisk walk (move a muscle/change a thought) Remember you quit smoking and believe in that power that you have. Stay with us. Read, read, read.
