  3. Half an hour was usually when I would crave another one too. I tried several times to cut down my smoking but it was usually a struggle after 30 to 45 minutes smoke free. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that now.

  5. Welcome to our site, Dylan, and congratulations on 6 months smoke free. As Jill and Sammy said, a lot of this is normal. Recovery from some of these symptoms varies from person to person but I assure you that you are doing the best thing by staying smoke free. It is great that you went to see a doctor when you were concerned. Yes, there are great things that happen when you quit but there are stressful things as well. They will get better with time.
  6. NOPE - Smoking sucks!
  7. NOPE Happy Friday everybody
  8. You are doing great, Phil. I was lucky in that I really didn't have many smokers around me at all when I quit. Keep up the great work. Hopefully Mrs. Boosh is inspired by how well you are doing and decides to quit the cigs too.

The Atlanta Braves just signed Cole Hamels to a 1 year deal. Sounds like a good pickup. I wish him luck against everyone but the Cubs.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
