The other day I saw a garter snake in my window well outside, ignore it as it wasn't bothering anything until I heard the screams....did you know frogs can scream? It had caught a small frog...couldnt handle that noise so interfered with the circle of life...I saved the frog and helped it escape by hitting the snake with a stick until it let it go....frog got away. The snake was pissed....than the snake came out of the window well later and duke tried to kill it and shook it and I saved the snake from the dog....

Yep that's the kinda thing I do all the time, I know you are not meant to mess with the circle of life but I think sometimes the circle goes pear shaped and you just gotta set it right again..??

**** it.  I don't care if you cuss, especially in this forum.  Just a little tact on the main boards though.  Again, **** it.

I love snakes.  I love frogs.  I love dogs.

Too many frogs chirping or dogs barking can make you go mad. Completely mad.

Snakes are best.  Nice and quiet usually.

Korn snake snacking

Two things.

One .

Darling Fluffy One,

WE are part of the circle of life, not separate from it.  Whatever we do we cannot escape this.

Two.

Whispers,

Is there a good soundtrack to the corn snake/rat ?

Crunch is a food group, obviously, and also ear candy to some.

Pretty snake skin.  I'm thinking boots.

Yep @Sazerac we are part of the circle and just look how often we (humans) bend it out of shape with all species our own included. I am content in what I do as is whispers in what he does (assuming that is, that's his snake?)  a mixed bag of all sorts is how it works..

Hakuna Matata??

@Wee fluffy me  That is my friend tommy snake, i wouldnt own a snake but nature doesnt bother me like that. I just accept its part of life, to me a photo isnt as bad as a video or live. Sometimes i cant look but other times its like roadkill and i gotta look

My stupid dog is on a hunger strike lately so no one can blame him for whatever life sacrifices are made in the name of "circle of life".

You know that talking dog on youtube where the guy is telling him about what he and the cat ate? My dog, after an honest haircut, kind of resembles that one. I bet THAT dog doesn't sit there and pretend his food doesn't exist.

Freakin ridiculous that flowers for a funeral are so expensive AND the big online flower companies won't deliver to a small town on the outskirts of ours. This town is literally ten minutes from us at the most! Finally said screw it and went with a local shop who was not only happy to deliver to this town but was cheaper too.

Bitch #2: Two friends of mine passed away in one week ? Both had nice long lives into their 80's but man, it still sucks!

Bitch #3: My asthma was so bad yesterday and today that I had to leave hubby in the grocery store shopping and wait in the car ? Hopefully by Friday it's calmed down for the funeral.....

I can't offer much help for the asthma... I know pineapple helps my heyfever cos its an antihistamine (or an awesome placebo)... but seriously it helps so maybe having some pineapple or pineapple juice might help. I know when the Kid is bad we cut out dairy and it seems to help here.

Big hugs for the passing of your friends. Its hard when that happens, especially so close together.

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgffhhh

Inconsiderate Fkn B***ard of a husband says he forgot to tell me he had arranged to meet up with family over from Ireland( that we've not seen since f*ck knows who's funeral ) in glasgow after kilt fittin, they are coming from far and wide (Irish Catholic family)

Note....not just eatin shite got some  healthy raspberries too.??

Oh and to top it off I've wore the wrong size knickers and every step I take they are vanishing further up the crack of my arse.. !!????

Oh @Wee fluffy me

, so sorry you have an inconsiderate hubby too. I have decided that it's not so much that they are inconsiderate, it's more that they are self centered and don't think about anyone but themselves. At least that's mine ( we all know Shane is the exception though). Or it's like jo said, that you're beautiful no matter how you think you look :)                                                          Enjoy those treats!   Oh and be careful, he may go one step further like mine does and invite them all back to your house!

Glad to know its not just me who has an a**ehole for a husband... and

Yeah, I wouldn't be too sure I'm the exception, I'm a clumsy sod as well! ?

I hope you are feeling a little better now Wee. I wanted to say something earlier, but given the source of your anger and my gender I thought it best to stay out of the line of fire.

Aaawww Joe, that's sweet of you, thank you for caring xx

We have a lifestyle screen door (pic below) on our garage that the screen had torn on the retractable door. I called the company and they said no problem replacing the screen tube and would we like to order the super screen which is like a pet screen, much more durable. So of course we said yes. Well the screen cost 42.00 but the damn shipping cost 40.00!

Here's the grrrrrrr moment. We waited two weeks for the screen guy to come over and him and hubby tried replacing it and came to the determination that it was too thick to fit. Luckily I came out when I did and after thinking about it suggested they cut off a few inches of the screen and maybe that will be enough to fit in the cylinder. Well it was. If I hadn't come out when I did though I would have had to eat $82.00 because there was no way I was paying another $40.00 to ship it back to the company!
