July 23, 20188 yr We're having a heat wave here in California too this whole week! AND the electric company sent letters to our neighborhood saying the power would be off Wednesday for up to 6 hours for some maintenance they have to do. That means scorching hot with no fans because of no power ? Hopefully they'll postpone!

I grew up a few suburbs over in the Burra (Port Melbourne) and would ride my BMX down Beach road to go to st kilda beach.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhh Wondering...why, when somebody makes the decision to take their own life by jumping infront of a bloody train they always seem to decide rush hour home time is the best time ..This in turn means the trains are cancelled for a minimum of 5 hours.. ****..****..******..**** and my weans are now stuck in Glasgow because they can't get the ***** bus as they have their bikes with them cos they went for the healthy option of cycling round the toon... Glasgow is not a good place for country bumpkin kids to be after 6 pm ... !!

August 14, 20188 yr Glad their dad could go fetch em. Frickin scary shit.. I'd be packin darkies if it were mine. We have this issue with our line quite a lot too. Doesn't help there is a psych hospital across the roads from the tracks in one section. Hope they were all ok. My thoughts are with the bloody driver... I always feel for them, they are in a train, on tracks, its not like they can swerve to avoid it... poor bugger has to live with that for the rest of their life.
