November 3, 20187 yr I hate November!! Most depressing month of the year where I live. Cold, wet and usually windy! More dark time than light because of the changing season yet it is not normally cold enough to snow much. I wish it would just go straight to -40 with a few feet of snow and be done with it. Easing into it makes it worse; not better!

Frickin Cup Carnival..... last week of October and first week and a bit of November gives us Cox Plate, Derby Day, Melbourne Cup, Oaks Day, Stakes Day..... Public holiday for the cup... cricket season kicks off..... November is awesome.... go you good thing!!! ..... OMG but what I hate is all the interstaters asking me if I have a tip for the cup... my tip (from my Grandad the bookie) "Don't bet on the cup... but if you do be prepared to loose... there are 24 horse in a race and any one of them could win it"...... I always bet 2 & 6 in a quinella because it was my Great Grandad's unit... the 2nd 6th...
