**** it.  I don't care if you cuss, especially in this forum.  Just a little tact on the main boards though.  Again, **** it.

  • Holy fcuking shit... Just got given a letter from my boss... Got an unexpectedly massive Payrise and bonus due to 'the great level of service provided to my customers'... Tasha will be over the moon,

  • Me!  I'm am counting on all of you to get me through.  Lust4Life I understand how you feel.  You are all beginning to mean so much to me.  I feel as if you all have been friends with me my whole life.

Thanks Jillar,

It's been a tough freaking year for me. I've lost people before but not so many close friends in such a short period of time. It's just starting to wear me down emotionally. I will get through it but it really sucks.

Its just horrible @Mac#23, I've been very fortunate in that I haven't lost any friends yet to this horrible virus. But as people get tired of the mandates it seems like its only a matter of time .... 😞

Oh Mac...I'm sorry for your loss. I frickin hate this disease, it's toll isn't just the lives it takes but everything it touches. I'm hoping to get out to the cemetery to see my uncles grave this weekend, he passed mnths ago from covid, alone in a hospital bed. He was buried with only his kids there and his grave has been outside our lockdown zone.

I am so sorry @Mac#23. The disease seems to be running rampent in the US now and I am sure many us will now be touched by it.  I am shocked at how many people I know that still do not take it seriously.

Aww Mac...My heart goes out to you ....

You have lost too many good friends ,due to this horrid virus ....

Take comfort in knowing you have a train full of people who have you in thier thoughts and prayers ...

The numbers are unbelievable.....and it's a scarey time for all....❤️🐸

Seriously!?!

The grocery store we shop at waited until the week before Thanksgiving to resurface the parking lot.  Cut the number of parking spaces down by about 75%.

What the hell were they thinking?

Very sorry for the losses your have had to endure this year Mac 😢 Hard enough to deal with one let alone multiple losses. Let's hope 20121 will be a better year for all of us as well as our friends & family 🤞

Ha, ha burn on him! Tried to pick a fight and I saw it coming....yep, you got to get up PRETTY early in the morn to get over on me so in your face!!!

Oh the corona virus fun of  it all.....

Twelve weeks?  I don't think the brick masons took that long to build the couch in front of Ben & Jerry's in Chattanooga.

I don't think I've ever posted on this thread before but I found out this morning that an old friend / former co-worker that I haven't heard from in quite some time but thought extremely highly of committed suicide this past week.  I'm not going to speculate on what may have driven him to this but it fukkn sucks.

The guy was a big Radiohead and Pink Floyd fan.  Here's a song I think he'd like.  Rest in peace, Eric.

I am so sorry johnny5.  These are such trying and sad times.  I am sure the statistics on suicide will be very high this year.  This is a good reminder to reach out to those friends we have lost touch with.

Sorry to hear about your friend Johnny.

We can never really know or fully understand the kind of pain some people are in.

Condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear about you friend. My condolences to you and his family

I pride myself on having a fairly even-keeled disposition.

That being said, this world has some real assholes in it.  Try as we might, some assholes just won't let you ignore them any longer.

A client of ours comes in today.  A client who is not nearly as important as he thinks he is.  We've had issues with this dickhead before and frankly he's not worth the hassle anymore.  Several of us have bitten our tongues and let cooler heads prevail in the past.  Today he comes in and starts running his mouth.  Then he ups the ante and threatens one of my workers.  Not a bold threat, but rather a passive-aggressive threat.  Just the kind of thing you expect from a dipshit like this guy.

I won't bore you with the play-by-play of my reaction, but I will say it was "Curse Thread" worthy.  Things have calmed down considerably now and I suspect we'll never see our offending asshole again.

Some of you may remember me saying that I'm going to cuss less now that I'm a father.  I'm still working on that and I found out today that I haven't forgotten any of those words.

Gday

Often there final word is ...... I’ll never come back here again! I’ll take my business elsewhere

( Good, that’s great! Actually if the truth be told your not actually good for this business anyway!)

And ......I’ll tell all my friends

(  Even better cause if they are like you, we could do without them! )

Didn't it feel good though @Boo to finally be able to bless him out?!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it a bit.  Particularly that moment when his arrogant smirk was replaced with a look of: "holy shit, this guy's crazy!"

He's not welcome here anymore.  I don't even want his business.

Funny thing is, he has threatened before to take his business elsewhere.  He is going to start doing business with a company down in Dalton, Georgia instead of us.  I know the guys down in Dalton.  They have less tolerance for bullshit than we do.  That relationship is doomed before it even starts.

I had that same experience with a client. A real pain in the ass who couldn't be pleased. The final straw was when she said "Don't forget which side your bread is buttered on". Implying that since they were my first clients that I owed them something more than the great job we were doing. So on July 4th I had enough and told her I quit, here's your key and got my employees and our supplies out of there.

It wasn't six months later she tried getting back on my schedule, NOPE, I'm good! lol

"The customer is always right."  An old quote that really needs a caveat: The customer is always right, unless said customer is an intolerable asshole and more trouble than their worth.  In which case: f**k 'em!

Jeff, who manages the warehouse, kind of positioned himself between me and the offending asshole during the whole brouhaha.  He told me this morning: "You've got a wife and kid now.  If anybody was going to catch a charge for kicking his ass, I was gonna take it."

Sometimes managing these guys feels like herding feral cats, but you have to respect loyalty when you find it.

Yes this world is full of many assholes.  The thing that concerns me is how many of those assholes could be crazy assholes.  I am always yelling at my husband for beeping his horn or cussing people out.  You don't know who is going to pull a gun or come back with a bomb.  It feels like such a different world these days.  At this moment, people are at their top stress level and there aren't anymore calming smiles because we are all covered by masks!

We love you Boo and live for your Maddie and Sugarbritches updates.  Be sure you know who you are bitching at!
