That's the good side of life at the moment. Putting out fires in two places 1,100 km apart and this will last for weeks so I'll be in transit a lot and one place is pretty remote; as in - Oh, you've actually seen water that comes out of a tap all on it's own??!!

After a whole bunch of bad sh*t started happening at once, it surprised me that my brain jumped immediately to STRONG thoughts of lighting up a smoke and chain smoking till I just passed out or or couldn't breathe. I didn't think it was possible to be that overwhelmed by a strong urge to smoke after being quit for more than a year?

 

Anyway, those thoughts have now been replaced now with a strong desire to inflict pain, misery and possibly bodily harm on certain folk ?

 

Get em rep, sorry bout this BS but it happens and yes, those thoughts do happen and the urges can come and anyone who said they dont hasnt got there yet or is ..ummmm

Jesus christ so it seems around here the weather jumped from the worst of winter to the worst of summer overnight.

 

Like one day I was driving down the snow and ice covered road in a blizzard, tailgaters exactly 1/4 of an inch off my ass, then the very next day it is hot, thick, humid, oppressive heat.

Alright so I lied, we had like two whole days of "spring".

 

You know spring? Yeah, that season when it is cool at night, warm 72 in the day, sunny, slight breeze, kids flying kites, picnics, etc.

NOPE, didn't happen this year cause mother nature is a c*** wipe.

 

It just sucks cause instead of being able to go outside and enjoy the weather, it has already been hot and gross. You know like go outside and it feels sticky and icky.

See this bloody  royal wedding,  sooner it's over with the better.. now Harry is the only one I can really tolerate from the lot of them but I have no intention of watching the fookin thing... 

 

So hand on heart it went exactly like this..

We have so many happy chirping birds around here this year but PLEASE let me sleep in tomorrow! Between the dog that barks ALL NIGHT LONG and the birds chirping at 5:00 am, sometimes even sooner, we need a break! Even closing our dual pane Windows doesn't help ?

^^^^ I know! The difference between this time of year and say, November or December is incredible. In late November, I could sleep till noon easily. This time of year, some animal is ruining my slumber starting around 3:00 AM ? And, the light starts around 4:00 AM these days - Gawd!!  It'll be even worse next month!!

I can't sleep until noon, ever, unless I'm sick. I'm just asking for a quiet 8 hours. Doesn't seem a lot to ask.......

My house is filled with smoke as my iron melted a top with no warning.. I was half way through the mountain at the time ....

oh for f**ks f**k sake!!.. iron then proceeded to belt out smoke then started crackling.... still got all the uniforms to do and have no shops near me and I don't drive and hubby who does is away with son to a testimonial match today and won't be back before i leave for my quiz( is that a sign that I shouldn't go..??) So now have to ask hubby to pick up new iron to which he will be clueless as to what he should buy.. as he doesn't know one end of an iron from another ... Aaaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhh..

 

Sob, sob,  sob and a few more F's flung in..!!

 

Also melted my iron board cover I might add...!!

Yep great minds @jillar, I thought of that after I calmed down.., but I melted my work shirt..!!! And being the skinflint I am I refuse to but too many clothes that are bigger cos I have no intention of keeping this belly/blubber so the only decent clothes I had for tonight were waiting to be ironed.. But fear not I have found others that work(kinda) haha..
