  4. I did squats (30), lunge pulses (30 each side), and other strength exercises then I went on a 6.5 mile run did not stop but once to walk and then only for 1 minute feels great. I think using the adaptive motion trainer at work is helping me with my endurance and not having to stop a rest up before going on either that or I am having a good run of good runs lol.......love the feeling I get after and during a run it makes me feel good and peaceful.....it does help with my anxiety and stress also......

  9. You have to find what works for you......everyone is different men tend to lose weight easier than woman(truth) but it does not need to be uncomfortable (that is no way to live) Watch your portions and eliminate some foods such as sugar filled sodas.........eats lots of veggies and some fruits........drink lots of water plus if you feel like you are hungry drink water first you might just be thirsty your body might be mixing up the signals.....move more walk, dance, anything really. Note that the goal should be about your health and how you feel not a number on a scale and heres a big one Patience....one must have patience......track your food honestly on an ap or on paper......I would try to keep the calorie count around 1500ish, the body does need fuel.......make sure that the fuel you put into your body is healthy and good for you......give yourself a cheat meal once a week .......it is a process and should be looked at like a lifestyle change and something that can be maintained
  10. they will definitely clean that up a bit by debriding the tissue around the area but it looks like they wont need a big donor site(the area on your body where they will take a graft which is just shaving a layer off ) did they take cultures? (swab the wound) if so did they tell you the results?
  11. I can not handle the phlegm.....the goobers when they extubate a patient is gross then when they cough YUCK lol you can always tell when someone smokes they are juicy
  12. They will probably take the skin from your hip....they will put a local in it will possibly done under MAC anesthesia or general anesthesia , they sew it on typically healing time depends on your health and the are itself the doc can tell you more on this.....I would hold off on the gym and ask the doc that question also.
  13. what do you want to know? They typically shave an area of healthy skin on another part of your body and put it on the area needing a graft and hopefully it will take depending on the bloodflow and healing. edited to add some stuff: they will prepare the area for the graft by debriding and cleaning it up a bit first
