-13 dear bakon, due to your village idiot status, i will refrain from the arithmetic education. peace.
  2. Found this thread and enjoyed the laughs. and hope. Grateful I do have the luxury of a long spring break right now. I've been short circuiting brain wise since i quit. Have not seen (or missed) anyone share about motor skills....mine are skipping. I drop lots of things and choose not to do complex stuff (like folding fitted sheets, ha ha) telling myself these tasks will wait, or can be done at a lower standard for the time being. That being said, I caffined up (for the first time since I quit) in an effort to get rolling for the weekly housework. Surprised and joyfilled that no crave came with the coffee. Cruising on in my fog.
  3. NOPE.

  8. Continued gratitude for Doreen, Boo, Sazerac, Irene, Jillar, Notsmokinjo and the many others for direct suggestions (read this, do this), support (kind words believing in me) and ideas (this might be something you'd resonate with). I'm a reader, so the reading the threads and playing games helps. Rereading the info on addiction, quitting, relapsing....all useful. Rounding out close to 3 days free. Finding the evening the toughest. Likely because I'm already tired. Tried to put some semblance of normal schedule into my day...only to realize the world is resetting most schedules today. Hoping all of you are healthy and hale with those you hold dear.
  9. Well done making it this far. I'm walking along in this early quit zone, too. Alternately fine, then abruptly raging. NOPE. Not One Puff Ever... Happy to walk with you AceWhite. Outsmart yourself when the addict thinking shows up. I have just been sitting down and reading this site and playing games. Hardly seems like outsmarting, yet I seem to come through calmer and with drama dialed down. lol Eventually, my junkie self shuts up and I move on to another activity.

  14. Still here. smoke free almost 2 days. Yay! Will need to begin acting like a functioning human soon. The worst part, so far, is my choice to be miserable to my guy. As if he has anything to do with my f'ed up life choices. At any rate.... I will try to make tomorrow normalish in terms of scheduling and events. Again, thanks for the encouragement, advice and humour.
  15. Thanks for the support. You all seem kind, funny and real sized. I'm feeling in such a negative headspace, I don't want to spew all over the niceness here at QT. I am lurking about and reading lots. You all really do have great senses of humor and kindness and butt kickiness.
  16. Well done. 6 months of freedom. Glad you shared.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
