  1. Was fixin to bring this over from the old board and saw it was already here
  2. You have WAY to many other things to worry about my dear so let me clarify it for you. First, I was making a joke and cream sounded better than milk. But yes, we use both cream or milk in our tea and coffee depending on our tastes. I personally always use milk because we always have milk and since I rarely drink tea the creamer would expire. My dad on the other hand always used cream.
  3. For all our newbies, you're doing great!
  4. Kansas Chiefs football team
  5. Cadaver
  6. I quit because I couldn't breath. My Dr told me if I kept smoking I'd be dead in 10-12 years and on oxygen. And I was only 52 at the time.
  7. Zeppelin
  8. Well that was a fun day, NOT! Went to print a proposal this morning and my printer denied. Dead to the world. After some research and wanting to stay with Canon for ease of setting up my fax, I headed to Office Depot. After waiting fifteen minutes for help I was finally out of there and back home for two glorious hours of setup. So instead of posting in the curse thread I am posting here because it ended up successful AND now I'm having a well deserved "special" treat and a Coors light or maybe two
  9. Congratulations suz, you're doing great!
  10. Congratulations on being past the worst month of them a deb!
  11. Welcome Christa, I'm sorry about your stepson passing away ? You'll find great support here as many of us from qsmb took refuge here and have been welcomed with open arms. So you know the drill but the two most important imo is the daily NOPE and SOS if you feel yourself caving to a crave!
  12. Beautiful couple reci, you must be so proud Looking forward to more pics. Have a great vacation, it sounds amazing!
  13. Proof that Stewie needs to move out of my mom's
  14. Thanks for the bump Doreen Our community is here to help all of us stay smoke free. You'll find people from all over the world and in all stages of quitting so jump on the train with us
  15. Congratulations on nine months quit Kelly!
  16. Mine either! ?
  17. Hi Jim, thanks for your honesty. I'd say there's many of us who would agree that the morning cig or cigs with our coffee was the best. As long as you're not thinking about it every morning when you have your coffee than you're not romancing it imo. I went down from two cups a morning to just one and your post made me think did I just have that second cup so I could chain smoke?
  18. Hi Linda, those craves are totally normal at your stage and unfortunately the only way past them is to go through them. You are starting what we call WTF week when pretty bad cravings can sneak up out of nowhere. After the first month quit though the craves will begin to get farther and farther apart. Did you know they say it only takes three days to get a habit but three weeks to break that habit? Thinking of that helped me through that knarly third week. You are doing great so be super proud of yourself
  19. There totally is benefits @notsmokinjo. I always get an aisle seat when eating so I don't bump elbows with anyone. No one borrows your left handed coffee cups either:
  20. Is that an easier way to add cream to your tea?
  21. @Boo my guess is yes! Lol
  22. Or maybe a Xena book and her treasure is her trusty sword?
  23. Hmmm, find your treasure could mean all kinds of things. Not just actual treasure. The above book could still be used as there's always a Jack sparrow love interest in each book. Maybe love could be her found treasure?
  24. The only thing I can come up with for that outfit and treasure would be Good luck that's a tough one!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
