  1. I imagine all affected areas will be If a moth is to a butterfly what a weed is to a flower, should I order take out tonight?
  2. Yes you do care parsley, that's why you're posting I used my air cigarette when bad craves hit. I just pretended I was holding a real cigarette in my fingers and then went through the motions of "smoking" it. It worked great at tricking my brain into thinking it was getting the real thing. Some people use cut straws or pens etc. Each day you succeed is one more day you never have to go through again. You're doing awesome
  3. I've gathered a crew and we should have this place spic and span in no time
  4. Put on purple unicorn costumes would be a good start I imagine Will a laptop computer still work if it's not on a lap?
  5. @notsmokinjo, I hope she has her rescue inhaler with her but if not I'm sure the nurses station has one on hand? How about getting her father or half brother to go get her since you're not suppose to drive?
  6. Hmmm, what do you think @Joe7, can jo say cop a squat to sit down here or will everyone point to a bathroom?
  7. Never heard the flat out like a lizard or dropping a pollie. Have you heard dropping a deuce or cop a squat?
  8. Mine doesn't sound like a name more like throwing a bucket of water out. But we do call it Ralph here too. Sounds like it's the universal name for puking?
  9. No not me either, it must be a Scottish thing?
  10. Yes weegie that is the same. Isn't that one of the perks of having good friends?
  11. No, what's with you people? Can you not tell when you're feeling like you're going to get sick?
  12. I don't remember what my mom did either but it seems like I would remember a sick bucket don't you think? Fun fact: my husband absolutely LOVES watching people get sick. He used to piss me off in our younger days when too much alcohol would send me to the toilet, he'd be right behind me trying to get in and laughing hysterically grrrrr
  13. Maybe if I had a kid I would do the sick bucket for them?
  14. What if you miss the bucket? ? No weegie, I'm never too sick that I can't make it to the toilet. Is your toilet far away?
  15. ha, ha Joe. So which are you then, toilet or bucket? And thanks for being brave enough to play with me lol
  16. Hi Christa, glad you're not letting anyone or anything get in the way of that awesome quit you have going. And in answer to your question, yes I think most of us have felt that way and it seems like when quitting those feelings are amplified. Those people were always that way but in these first few trying days, weeks, months it can seem tenfold! You're doing great and keep on posting because we all can relate
  17. Geez, did I scare everyone away again?! I'm starting to get a complex ?
  18. Congratulations on 3 years quit PearlJen!
  19. Congratulations on one month Nikki, you're doing great!
  20. Congratulations Illpass!
  21. I don't crave it when I see it on tv but I definitely notice it more so than when I smoked. When I smoked seeing smoking on tv made me want to go out and have one too

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
