  1. I'm the lucky recipient of a couple saves thanks to the SOS. And niecie, I remember that day very well. I just wanted to jump through cyberspace to give you a hug and was so happy when you made it past it
  2. Welcome struggler I hope you're feeling a little better now. You've been given great advice from our awesome members so go easy on yourself. These feelings won't last forever and one day soon you will wake up in the best mood ever with not a thought of smoking so hang in there. Thirteen days is fantastic!

How you doing blur? You almost have day one done
  4. I'm embarrassed to say this but I didn't go to any lengths to hide my smoking. It wasn't until I quit and got my sense of smell back that I realized just how much I must have reeked ?
  5. Welcome back parsley Congratulations on day one, you can do it and we'll help anyway we can
  6. @notsmokinjo it depends on whether the big hand is on twelve or six lol. And no fish in the filters lol

  16. One of my all time favorites was Breaking Bad. Really good series imo
  17. Congratulations raj, that's awesome!
  18. You're seeing positive results already christa, like Martian said, it only gets better
  19. Yay kt, one short month away from being an old pharte! Congratulations
  20. Hi christa, I hated the constant thoughts too ? What helped me was keeping my mind busy with other things. If I was busy helping someone else by posting or celebrating milestones, playing games and socializing I found it took my mind off my misery. Some of the games are really good for that. Or check out the socializing sections, lots of good stuff there too. And some days if none of that worked said the hell with it and just went to bed hoping tomorrow would be just a little better. You're doing great btw
  21. Orange juice stains on website's nonexistent cream carpet
  22. Sorry you relapsed @blur. Most of us have had failed quits or been so gungho only to have nicotine (temporarily) win us back. Stop smoking where you usually do, keep telling yourself that it's time to quit and that you're over it. Think of all the positives quitting will do for you. You can do it, we are all proof. You just need to believe in yourself
  23. Congratulations Robert, you're doing GREAT!
  24. Wow super happy for you Grund, congratulations you old pharte! I hope you're planning something special to celebrate this HUGE milestone

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
