  22. We can delay our response to stressful situations until we are quite removed from them. Then, afterwards feeling proud and calm , get hit broadside and feel the impact. You are wrenching yourself away from Nicotine, this is a very big deal. Take really good care of yourself. These are not just words to slough off, you must nurture and reward yourself, especially now. Your brain is learning a whole new way of living, a whole new set of responses will be ignited. Have you read this ? The Significance of Rewards I am so happy, @Parsley that you reached out. Don't forget we are all on your side, for true. s

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
