  13. Hey Ladies - sorry the weather is crappy in your neck of the woods ( I won't mention that it is Summer here... Oops did I just say that out loud ?:-) ). But from what I know smoking won't improve the climate - or fix paper cuts ! - I think a lot of us early in our quits were abstaining - that is where the one minute, one hour, one day aha time comes in handy - it will get better but in the interim you need to find some distractions - exercise, reading or whatever else comes to mind when it is cold, dark and you are housebound with a significant other :-)
  14. Aine - you have been through so much - it is no wonder you are feeling all over the place - but you know smoking won't fix anything. I love the idea of yoga ... It will help calm the mind and hopefully provide a distraction. As the others have said - even down the track in our quits - we all still face triggers ... I know I was hoping that at some point the thought of smoking magically disappears - unfortunately that doesn't happen! What does occur though is we recognise what we are thinking and if we are smart we do something about it - like post on the board and ask for support :-). You can do this and it will get better, but in the interim stay close to the board and ask for help - we all want to give you whatever support you need !
  15. Just cardio today - treadmill and elliptical

  23. Pippa replied to Kristin's topic in The S.O.S. Board
Hey Kristin- late as always ! If I had a dollar for every time I got changed and headed outs for cigs early in my quit I would be a millionaire! It is natural to think about smoking - we just can't act on it ! So glad you are feeling better now ... And the best part is - you will keep getting stronger and stronger !
  24. I am sure you will be happy with the results - sending prayers your way !
