  1. Wow fair play to you for minding your grandson, do you mean he lives with you 24/7 or do you mind him when his parents are at work? Well done you on getting over another crave, that's another tick off the done and got through list, Good on you hun, delighted for you, you are doing fab, oh and nag away you are entitled to it ;)
  2. I promise it gets easier, no actually better is the word I'm looking for, better then before, maybe have a bath with a glass of wine, some candles and some music or maybe take half an hour to meditate. You could still go out to your garden and have your cuppa and maybe buy yourself a magazine and nice cake or cupcake or whatever tickles your fancy and go sit and relax, I swear to you it will get soooo much more enjoyable, oh or sit out the back and fill up a basin with epsom salts and aromatherapy and soak your feet after a hard day (i loveee doing that) and read a newspaper or magazine and actually relax because you weren't relaxing previously you were only relieving that poxy nicotine crave.
  3. The hand pain was the first sign of fibromyalgia for me x

  5. Fecking hate them!!!
  6. Yep I'm sure 20 odd years of smoking caused my fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome, irritible bowel syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, thank you smoking for giving me a parting gift of lots of wonderful syndromes but it still could be even worse if I continued. That's my next step Bug to drastically change my diet, just dreading it, especially no caffeine but no one to blame but myself x
  7. Have you quit Sue? I just read your post again and maybe you should too, I can't understand why you want to smoke, you said yourself how horrible they make you feel, how much they make you stink, you are much more miserable as a smoker, I've seen you post for a couple of years now and when you have quit you are always in such a happy place, your posts are upbeat, full of positivity and happiness and when you relapse you are soo depressed and horrible to yourself, why would you possibly choose that. Seriously start again, go treat yourself to a wash and blow dry, get a facial, quit this week and put yourself first again, treat yourself right, pamper yourself until you feel great again, oh and splash out on expensive body moisturiser and perfume and keep sniffing yourself, can't beat smelling yummy and trust me, men would rather smooch a non smoker ;) No harm chatting with your doc if you are still feeling depressed xx We ALL want nothing more then to see you succeed and be happy again xxx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
