  2. Hiya iam come on over to us, we are like parents sitting up at night waiting for our kids to get home safe from the pub. So it's way past closing time, you should be home by now, don't make us have to send out a search party to find you xx
  3. My 3 babies mainly, figured there was no point in me having kids if I was just going to kill myself too soon and break their hearts because I picked cigarettes over them. My oldest James would beg me to quit and wouldn't kiss me because I stank but I am soo happy my younger two don't remember me smoking, no way I'm changing that, I don't ever want to see them smoking and it would have been very probable that they would be smokers if I had continued, no fecking way am I killing my babies either.
  4. Oooooh check you out with your fancy posh desk, who have you been giving happy endings too lol Just aswell you had half your smalls drawer in your bag!!

  8. I've cut way down on drink, I didn't drink for the first 3 months and am trying to just stick to a few at home, were I feel safe cos no cigs around, I am still not feeling 100% safe when it comes to drinking to the point I have had to turn down 3 weddings of very close people because my quit was too important to me and weddings are the worst cos you drink from soo early til the middle of the morning and I am just not that secure in my quit yet, which worries me if I'm being honest.
  9. Hiya Gio and welcome, really well done on deciding to quit, that alone takes balls which you clearly have ;) Keep doing what you are doing and just stay on your toes, ready to swat those buggar cravings away like a mosquito, Sue x
  10. Brilliant Aine really well done on 6 fantastic months, Hope you are ok after comrades hospital scare x Massive congratulations xx
  11. I couldn't drink for the first few months, staying quit was the most important thing (on my to do list lol) so I couldn't take that chance, drinking cost me almost all of my previous quits, if you feel you can and want to do it then go for it and just stay on guard all night, only let the negative thoughts of smoking in, keep reminding yourself why you quit. Maybe just drink say no more then 4 and leave as soon as you start really wanting to smoke, hopefully you won't need to and you will be allright, just stay on your toes and remember you don't smome so smoking is not an option xx Edited because of spelling mistake.
  12. Well done julie, doing fab so you are, Big congrats hun, Miss you xxxxxxx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
