Hi @Leander .....Were you Eli on QSMB by any chance? I remember the chat room and Nelski. and a colorful assortment of others, many from QuitNet in 2015. The chat room on QSMB stopped working for the last couple of years the site was around. QuitTrain uses the same software but I don't think the chat room works here either. Maybe a software glitch? The bass hunter? Bassman or addictedbassman (2 different members) possibly? I hope you stick around. It is a bit slower here than the old site but the people here are cool and you should see some familiar faces. Plenty of room for old timers and new timers too.1 point

Hi @johnny5 I remember the profile pic! We used to chat a lot, and with Nelsky, and a few others, I am trying to remember the nicks but it is not so easy. Forum was a great place to hang out and the only place I felt 100% understood and my pains shared. I'll have to check out this new place now and see if there is room for an old timer. For sure I remember the Sarge now! And there was a fish expert too, a bass hunter?1 point

Congrats on quitting, but you need to rid yourself of nicotine completely. Get off those patches and get that nicotine, that insidious drug, out of your system for good! Cold turkey purge! The physical withdrawal symptoms are only bad for a few days. It helped me to see the withdrawal discomforts as my body riding itself of that nasty addiction and healing. The physical addiction is the little monster. The big monster is of course the mental addiction. I strongly recommend doing the daily "NOPE" pledge in this group, and keep in mind, you're freeing yourself from the enslavement of nicotine addiction!1 point
