  3. A late congratulations on the 7 year quit! It is hard to believe it`s been 7 years ago we were both newbies. Best wishes.
  4. Wife & I helping Daughter & Son-In-Law move stuff from old house to the new house they just bought. Did a lot of work moving boxes of household stuff before the movers come for the big stuff tomorrow. There will still be all the stuff after that that they needed at the old place until the furniture all is moved so will be busy again tomorrow and probably Tuesday as well. Their old house closes on Wed. I'm too old for this stuff! My aches & pains have aches & pains! Hoping this is the very last time I do this!
  5. A great video to save and watch periodically to remind us to stay vigilant in guarding our quits. Life is stressful. Over time out hearts soften the harsh realities of our addiction. We forget that we are addicts. We quit smoking for a year, two, or more and believe that we are bullet proof and that we can’t fall and that is precisely when we start slipping. Thanks @jillar!
  6. That reminded me of this commercial lol

  9. sharonsiff Quit Date: 12 June 2013 Posted January 12, 2015 I have added this video I found to Chyrs relapse post but I'll put it out here too. Explains the 3 stages of a relapse Emotional, Mental and Physical. This would have been a fabulous video for me during my first months and hopefully will be of use to others who may need it now. 10. Thanks a lot everyone for your amazing posts!!! It’s so great to be part of this community! It’s hard to imagine it’s been 7 years already and I don’t think this would be my forever quit if it wasn’t for the wonderful people here. Hang in there newbies, there is an awesome life at the end of the tunnel and you deserve it!!!
