  4. Thanks everyone for thinking of me! I can't believe it's been 4 months! I've had some random cravings but I try to really think back to when I felt short of breath. That is what stops me from caving. It's so frustrating. Like I'm stuck. At times I want to say f**k it and just smoke, because I'm so stressed out. But then I'd be choosing to be more miserable. So, it feels like either way there's suffering. I know it sounds so crazy. Ugh this is so hard!

  21. Hi, friends. I'm back online now, after a much needed stretch of being unplugged. My time away was wonderful. There were definitely many moments of temptation... I still associate "relishing the moment" with smoking, and I still want to pickle my feelings with smoke when I feel sad or mad. But I was able to "NOPE" my way through those times. Evoking all of you in my mind really helped... as did the idea that I've worked really hard for this quit, and I don't want to throw it away and have to start all over again. So I'm back - still on the Train - still gratefully smoke free. Thanks again for helping me stay on track!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
