Feeling like Im slowly sinking

Featured Replies

Not sure why 1st 4 days a piece of cake and day 5.....sucks!

A lot of ebb and flow in the early days of a quit.  The rough spots are temporary and fleeting.  The benefits of quitting are permanent.

Buckle up, knuckle down, and drive on!

Jess, the only way out is through....it is hard but far from impossible!!

Every quit is different is what I have heard Jess so what you may have experienced in past attempts may not be what you will experience this time around but, you WILL get through it and it WILL get easier to manage the longer you stick to the NOPE. Do what you have to do to distract yourself in these early days and things will smooth out in fairly short order. Come here for support when you want it. We're here for you :)

Bad feelings came and they will go. Just keep your resolve and in the meantime, see if you can do something pleasurable for yourself (bubble bath?)

Yup perfectly normal indeed. Lots of upsets and downs for a while but eventually you'll have many more ups than down. Just need to plow through these days and know w good one is just right around the corner.

You know its that little nico monster whispering down your ear..he's trying his best to lure you back in...

HAVE NON OF IT...

Your stronger than him..fight...he will eventually wither and die...just show him who is the boss around here ..x

You are healing, give it time. Also, some days just suck.

Remember it’s just a part of quitting Nicotine ... Suck it up trooper and keep marching forward ... You’ve got this Jess :)

If you put your floaties on, you won't sink.

You can borrow Sarge's for a while.

Can I just say quitting sucks, wish I never started, I hate every hour today but I plan on winning just like Charlie! Lol

My new addiction may be drinking! LOL

There are sucky days, but they do pass. And they come less and less often the longer you stay quit. You can do this! Keep busy and focus on the positive changes in your life.  :)

All temporary Jess...

I was a Rottweiler for a while...so out of character... But it soon settled down...keep marchin...

PMS makes me bitchy LOL and that has nothing to do with smokes..... Hang in there you find ups and downs. Then times when you forgot to even think amount cigs or nicotine. It will come.

Hey Jess!!  Hang on in there. Non smokers/never smokers have bad days too remember. Just a bad day, not a bad life is what I used. Pleased to see you back in the game :) xx
