Hello Octain:

Jack joined up and last participated before I ever joined the group so I don't have any knowledge of where he is or his quitting status. From what I see though of his most recent posting history, he stops by every month on his quitting anniversary near the of the month--meaning if he follows his typical pattern he will post in a couple of weeks. The reason I am bringing this up here is that unless he has notifications set up for responses to his posts, he may not see this message for close to two weeks. I fear when a person puts up a post like this and doesn't get a response other people may assume that the person has relapsed. This often is not the case.

Hi All

Just to clarify. We all use this site as a tool in our quits and it is as equally important to me now as it was when I signed up 6 months ago. I use the site in my way and my monthly post is a good target for me. I have admiration for everyone that gives time and effort to help others but I’m sorry that is just not me. So anyway ....half a year !!! X

What ever works for YOU Jack!!! All that's important is that we all quit smoking. How ever we get there is up to each one of us individually. Personally, I'm just happy that you are still quit, as I'm sure you are too :)

I bet early in the quit you never imagined still not smoking for this long.

Doing awesome.

Way to go Jack!  Congratulations on your success!

Congratulations, Jack!  Use this board however it works for you- that's what's important.  It's obviously working, as evidenced by your beautiful 1/2 year quit.  WTG!

Yeah Jack, 9 months down -- Good to see you are still staying strong

I love that you come back monthly just to give us updates (and maybe help keep yourself accountable in the process.)  Kudos to you for 9 months!
