And I don't think you should be humiliated @Lilly...post an sos...ask for help...something. There was nothing personal in the messages. Just that you had relapsed...which on a quit smoking site isn't personal. It happens. Maybe if more people knew, the more could help you but it's hurtful when people just disappear.

So, please scurry around in PMs and whatever but I told you before I'm not going to fluff your butt over it.

Sorry I read it wrong but smiling face in a relapse sentence kind of set me off.

c9jane, I know your heart was in the right place.  I love that you reached out to her.  I don't really know Lily's history and how many relapses she has had.  Historically we have had a few people who would relapse every other day for weeks and months and it gets frustrating all the support and time people have invested in their quit.  I get it.  I even understand your post in frustration regarding her relapse.

But.......I do have to say that it was unnecessary to post the screen shots of your conversation.  Protecting members privacy is important to me and I don't want anyone here to feel that any of there private messages could be "outed" any time.  I want all members to feel safe here.  We try to steer clear of heavy moderation and deleting posts but to protect Lilly's privacy I am deleting that portion of your post.  Sorry about that.

My husband's stupid friend came over while he was in the hot tub and instead of leaving through the house like he came in, he decided to leave through the side gate. Idiot didn't close the gate all the way and I can't find my rabbit ? I didn't see or know he left that way until my husband came in and told me he wanted to check the gate. I hope he's just hiding and will be out for his food in the morning but I hate having to worry all night ?

Awwww.   I will be saying a rabbit prayer tonight.  

Thank you Linda, he's semi wild so if he is out he won't come to anyone. I don't know how I would even catch him ?

My Cocoa is here!!!!! I'm so happy, I was worried sick and barely slept. Hubby woke up at 4:30 am asking if I found him. Then around 6:30 am he spotted him

Thank you guys for caring, and your prayers and positive thoughts. THEY WORKED!!

Right?! You know he was living under our deck for two or three weeks before I spotted him and couldn't figure out how a rabbit got in our backyard. It took time and patience but he'll let me pet him most the time. Can't pick him up though so I was worried sick last night on what would happen to him if he was out.

I didn't even realize how much I've grown to love that silly rabbit!

I did the same thing with a cat.  We had a feral mother with 3 babies under our shed.  I was able to catch them all.  The babies I was able to find homes for but no one wanted the mother.

I had kept her in a huge crate and would crawl in there everyday and clean it and try to pet her.  I could not let her in with the dogs.  Then she bit me and it infected.  The doctors said I had to hold onto her for ten days to make sure she did not have rabies.  I still climbed in that crate everyday, named her Pretty Girl and finally got her to let me love her.  The dilemma was that she did not mix with the dogs.  So I got her fixed, took care of her for a couple more weeks and knew I had to let her go.  I thought she would hang around in our yard.  The day I released her,  I opened the door to the cage and sat on the deck and watched her go. 

Two years later, I am still going out on the deck and calling Pretty Girl.  My husband laughs as me.  He says she off having worry free sex ☺️

Just another manic Monday, haven't seen Cocoa since yesterday morning and the Heron was back to pick out a fish. Got my airsoft gun out and the CO2 cartridge had leaked out and was empty. Luckily it scared him away anyway....

Thanks @Lilly, I'm hoping he just got spooked or is mad at me for being late to feed him dinner yesterday and is under the deck. I guess though at some point since he is a free roaming bunny, I'll just have to accept that either something got him or he found a way out that I didn't know about  ? 

I'm keeping everything crossed he's just mad and hiding out. 

 

He came back last time so even though he is free roaming he still thinks of your yard as home ❤️
