Another list. Add something that popped in your head that might be long forgotten or something you miss on a regular basis.

 

I miss being a dumb kid. I knew the answer to everything and naturally let everyone know I already had it figured out.

 

I miss some people not posting so much anymore

 

I miss drinking beer without having physical effects of a belly or big head the next day.

I miss laughing at all the dumb things we did on purpose.

 

Working the other day looking for someone reported to be jumping off railroad bridge to commit suicide. Bridge is high but unless you dove head first, you might break a bone but won't die. So I played on it a a kid and my old middle school best friend was at his mothers outside loading a truck. I pulled in neighbors drive way and snuck up behind him. Full uniform and police car, his mother , now 70 is on front porch watching with his wife and two daughters in their 20's. I haven't seen chuck in ten years if not 15. I put a finger up to my lips so the ladies see not to alert him. So I get close and scare the shit out o him. We laugh and talk for few minutes which turns into half hour

 

His daughter laughing at every story including our friend Mike jumpin off railroad bridge with an umbrella just to see if it would work.

 

Any bad group in a movie the mrs will say "that was you and your friends" and I have to say No we were much worse.

I miss being about to eat junk and not put on weight!

 

I miss my family back in the UK

Everything except ex husband hopefully he has drowned

I miss this thread already for when I go to another one.

I miss the time when all my family lived in the same town and everybody saw each other on a routine basis.  I miss being able to just pop into my parents house for a cup of coffee and a good talk.  But I'm thankful for those times and memories as they'll stay with me as long as I roam this earth.

I miss the cuddles my girls gave when they were little.

I miss being able to ride my bike with one foot on the seat and the other stretched out behind me in an arabesque.

 

I miss being able to hold my breath under water for almost three minutes.

 

I miss being able to do 45 cartwheels in a row without stopping.

 

I miss being unselfconscious.

I miss the 90's but also the 70's. Only a kid, but it was cool.
