Leanna, Go on myfitnesspal, honestly!!  The guys here talked me into it (I was sad about my weight and kept going up and down like a yoyo).  Calorie counting is the only way I've ever managed to lose weight (well other then running a pub but I think that's an extreme suggestion).  I have lost 1 or 2 lbs every week despite some chronic cheating haha (chinese takeaway :( ).  I built in all the foods I like and even had macdonalds big mac and chips  one day, I just ate other low calorie stuff for the other meals and went for a walk that day.  I like how I can work my life and food choices around it.  xx

Ross, I am happy for you guys, what a healthy couple. Tell your wife how great she looks from me! As someone who has struggled with weight all her life, I know what it takes to lose 70 lbs. :)

OMG. now it makes sense!  I thought I had read at one point  that you and your wife hoped for a baby but that first you would quit smoking and she would lose weight.  Then a week or so ago you posted a recent pic of your wife and it got me to wondering why she needed to lose weight!  I thought your standards might be a little high.....

 

Good to know she has already lost the weight! 

 

I am so proud of you both.  This is a wonderful testament to what can be accomplished if you want something badly enough.  You are BOTH gorgeous and if your wife has a heart like yours (I'm sure she does) you're future children will be very lucky indeed.

Just an update on a couple of things... Tasha finally got tired if her wedding and engagement rings not fitting anymore, and of mr worrying about her loosing them... They are in to be resized, and we pick them up on Saturday... Her ring size went down 3 sizes... I guess that's a lot, lol!

 

Also, she just texted me to tell me that she just bought some trousers from Next, and they are a size 10 (I believe that is size 6 for our US friends) - this is the first time she's bought size 10 since she was a teenager, and officially means that she is half the woman she used to be, literally - she used to buy size 20! (16 in the US)... This is the first te since we met 10 and a half years ago, that she has weighed less than me :p

 

And she is currently talking to a journalist from a magazine who are considering running her story, photoshoot and all (including getting paid) - watch this space :d

 

Here she is with her nephew from a few weeks ago... Hopefully we will have one of our own, soon ;)
