  1. 10!! Crazy, time flies. I was just watching your show TWD and thought of you
  2. Something that always helped me was reminding myself that smokers smoke not feel like a non smoker. A cigarette would not make me feel any better unless I had a enough to become addicted again and cause physical craves. (Putting on too tight shoes to take them off type of thing.)
  3. Me too. For sure.
  4. Hahaha I'm always 'round
  5. Awesome!! I am happy for you guys. My hb quit using the e-cig, but only did it for a week because they were so expensive.
  6. Figuring in my weekend smoking binges my average was 11 per day.
  7. Oddly enough caffeine has a calming effect on me.
  8. There is no question - I did that several times. So weird! But when you think about it, everything about about smoking really is pretty gross.
  9. Great job Sarah! You got this in the bag.
  10. Great job on 6 months Mason!! This is a HUGE accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself.
  11. Time flies when you are having fun! Really well done :D :D
  12. Another Jen? Love it. Great job! So glad we get to share this journey with you. You have already brought so much to the forum.
  13. Yes! Well done!
  14. 3 months is amazing and you should definitely do something nice for yourself! Great job!

  16. A big sandwich!
  17. Well said and spot on.
  18. True - in the short term you probably will have triggers. It may get uncomfortable at times, just remember when/if you do, that it's all temporary. Not a one of us would stay quit if the discomfort didn't fade to the point that it's no longer an issue. And if you don't get triggers, that's awesome. Either way, you are right where you need to be, and you are doing brilliant. I am so happy for you. :)
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. we are here for you! I call it junkie thinking and I mentally picture myself stepping down to smash it.
  21. Have actually never heard of it! =/
  22. This is a true cause for celebration!! Well done Wiley. You are awesome.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
