  7. Oxygen- I enjoy the increased oxygen and what my body is able to do with it. I was always embarrassed to be a smoker and an athlete.
  8. There is no "magic pill" which is what you seem to be looking for. Quitting an addiction takes hard work and commitment, and digging in when it gets tough. Knowledge is only a weapon when you use it.

  13. I grew up about 1/4 mile from Budweiser brewing. I remember the smell of hops as a kid. Later in life, my teachers all said i'd be nothing but a construction worker & an alcoholic. F them..... lucky guess

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
