So this was the start of my quit over a year ago. It’s been a long road but I finally know in my heart and soul that I’ll never take one puff ever. NOPE. I truly know the meaning of those words. This forum is made up of awesome people that make it bearable when things seem unbearable during our quit. You are all special- and I don’t mean special education type special. I commit to stay because I know that my quit is still fragile no matter how confident I feel. Hopefully at least one person can learn from my F up of a relapse and how it took 7 years to find my quit again

I don't recall smoking ever being a part of my dreams Last night was different- I somehow ended up with a couple brand new packs of my fav smokes in my hands I was freaking out- I wanted to smoke one really bad. I was making every excuse in the world to pack 'em and open 'em up Finally I threw them away- Didn't smoke one, but that was a stressful dream and pretty vivid Nice try small fry

stop focusing on reasons to smoke -thats pretty unhealthy thinking You can't reach a destination driving in reverse You've made it quite a distance down the road. If you quit your quit you'll regret it

Linda it took me 7 years to quit again. I remember the first quit- lasted over 10 years. For some dumb reason I smoked a cig and thought it was no big deal. Here we are almost 8 years later and i've finally conquered again. This is what I know is true: IF I ever smoke again i doubt i'll ever quit again. It's that serious NOPE is more than a series of letters
