Thank you my friends, it is indeed revitalising to celebrate 10 months. Last month I came pretty close to buying a cigarette, standing next to a store and mentally seeing myself remove some change and taking one (they sell them here in single units as well), lighting it up and taking a puff. I could feel the relief as though I was smoking already as the vapour would leave my mouth...took all of what I value and have built up as my quit to not replay my thoughts in real life. I am so so glad I didn't give in because all it takes to reset the counter is that one puff. And next thing you know you're marginalising the second smoke of the day, and then the third and before you know it, you're lining the pockets of the tobacco companies with money and your lungs with tar. So damn not worth it. And these threads make that struggle worthwhile. Each one of you has won innumerable battles against this filthy addiction and are my guides. Each one of you has picked me (and so many others) up when I stumbled. Each one of you gave unconditional support when I needed it, and at times when I didn't even know I needed it. My quit is built of all these memories and my commitment to myself, that I will not abuse this chance. Thank you my QT family, forever and more.

Excellent post Jo as usual. I always, always ask my trigger ( I actually have a mental conversation with it :p) what does it need? My attention on a memory? My celebration for something good? My anger on something wrong? Anxiety at work? Post the answer my trigger gives, I'm like, hmm and where would that be after the 7 minutes of puffing like a defunct coal engine? Nowhere so how about instead I give you a nice walk, or a cool drink (It's hotter than a pig's backside here right now) and by that time, my trigger has left the building.

Woo Hoo D1, this is massive. 168 hours of incessant Nopes...that's phenomenal. When you look at 168 hours, it seems like such a huge number, but remember how you got past them, one crave, one hour at a time. This was my mantra for my quit. One crave, one hour and one day at a time. Congratulations on starting right and KTQ.

Oh Doreen, this is a topic I could go on about. I love perfumes, smelling good is an essential part of grooming I believe. My favourite perfumes in no particular order: 1. Alien (Thierry Mugler) 2. Nautica Classic 3. Bvlgari Aqva 4. Halloween - J Del Pozo 5. CK - One Summer 6. Nautica Blue 7. Issey Miyake - L'eau De Issey Quite a few more I can't remember now. Basically I absolutely love fresh, oceanic, citrusy fragrances. Not too heavy on floral ones. What about you?
