  7. Hold ya horses peeps...a girls gotta think....hmmmm.. 1. I once had my brakes fail while coming down off some mountains doing 100 (60m/hr) heading into a T intersection with the Sth Gippy highway on a blind bend. 2. I once swerved to miss a kangaroo ( @Cbdave just slapped his forehead and mumbled something about stupid city drivers) hit the dirt and ended up travelling backwards down the freeway doing 140 (yep speeding) while still in drive on the two passenger side wheels only. 3. I once said to my little cousins and sisters who were in the car with me as I took the my brother's place 7 hours away for the school holidays...keep your eyes open we might see some wombats only to turn the corner and hit one in the middle of the road.
  8. @peeper you lasted 30 hours without a smoke, so what did you learn? You learnt you can not smoke for a while day, and in your own words it was easy. So break it down, just quit for one day, you know you can do that...you already did...then the next morning when you wake up just quit for that day, only focus on not smoking for that day. The point is you only focus on 24 hours, one day, and you know that you can totally nail that. Don't worry about yesterday, forget about tomorrow...the only thing you can control is the now and in the now you do not smoke.
  9. ^ just like with how we have a cuppa we are all different.. saddly there is no miracle cure, the only consistent thing with all former smokers is we decided to take back control in our lives ...we choose not to put something in out mouths and set it on fire.

    Use My Word

If I get just a fraction of tonight's $110million Powerball I'll be a happy camper. Luck
  21. So this used to live elsewhere on a Sundee but ya know wot it deserves its own home. So the concept is simple...following the alphabet list a slang word that's normal for you, an example and a translation (those Scottish lasses, The Wees, have some pearlers). Those trixy letters can be skipped although we do encourage @Sslip's Algebraic Law Of X, or playing a SLOX where you start with x= ## and the number starts your play...or, X=69 Spose I betta go first.. Avo. pronounced Av-oh Example: yeah-NAH ta, I'll av some avo on me sanga. Translation: yes thanks, I'll have some avocado on my sandwich.
  22. Monkey Mia, Western Australia Cos only in Australia would we name our big nature reserve tourist attract to see the dolphins after a completely different animal Oh and the town before Monkey Mia...that would be Shark Bay...enjoy that swim with the dolphins.
  23. (to get to) The Other Side - Hugh Jackman & Zac Efron. What did she find there?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
