I don’t do Facebook. Never have, never will. I feel like it’s a place for drama queens who can’t make it through the day without some sort of conflict.
  3. This is funny… Overheard my wife on the phone with her sister telling her that I quit smoking. I looked over at her and said, “I am quitting“. I quit every day. Yeah, my last cigarette was January 5 but sometimes it seems like January 5 was just a few days ago
  4. Why thanks so much into it? Seems like you’re looking for something to bitch about.
  5. Sad news, Doreen. Sorry to hear this.
  6. Thanks everyone. Great bunch of folks around here. I really appreciate everyone.Still, one day at a time LOL
  7. Looking forward to spring. Going on three months no smoke. I just got new computer and software for work. I’m not good at learning new things. But I suppose I don’t have a choice. At least I don’t have to pay for it. (independent franchise kind of thing) It’s all good.. I don’t think it’s quiet in here at all. I cant keep up with all the posts.
  8. Normal feelings. Every once in a while you’ll get the sudden urge. But you have to know that you are stronger than your addiction and that a cigarette will do nothing for you. The urges go away, they always go away. Don’t romance the cigarette. Convince yourself that no matter how bad you feel, smoking will not make you feel better. You have direct control over your thoughts. Bad days come and go. You had bad days when you smoked, too. No different as a non-smoker…
  9. Vacuuming, cleaning the house
  10. Another smoke free day. Awesome!
  11. If you always do what you always did you’ll always get what you always got.
  12. You do whatever you have to do to not smoke. Whatever it takes, not even one puff. You can do it!

  14. Great news!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
