  3. I understand babs.... It's a sad thing to watch,but watching tony on his oxygen machine,has only made my quit stronger.... It's a constant reminder,of what could happen to me if I relapse..... Seeing it every day,watching the struggles,gasping for air,. Stay strong tiff,

  17. I was sitting in the garden with the morning paper.....enjoying the peace.....when.... A neighbour 2 gardens down started his smokers hack cough..... I stopped reading and just listened...... It went on for ever....hacking ,coughing.... Am I ever so grateful to have quit,and not have to sound like that ever again...... It was a great reminder ,never take another puff......

  20. Hi and welcome..... Congrats on quitting at a great young age.....I wish I had done......you clever person.....ok... Read all you can ,Allen Carr easy way is a good read too,it's helped a lot of people..... Pledge with us daily....it's a promise you won't smoke that day..... Take it easy,one day at a time.....don't over think things....keep it simple..... I was told when I arrived here.....whatever is going on.... Smoking is not on the table ever......this stuck in my mind...... Stay close to the board...... My best
  21. Huge welcome Tom...... Great decision to quit....and find your way here......I smoked double yours and some,this is my advice to you .... If you havnt read Allen Carr easy way....it's a good book and has help a lot of folks..... Read all you can to really understand ,what keeps us hooked..... Jump in with both feet,and no matter what you are feeling,no matter what's going on.....never... Stick anything in your mouth and light it.... Stay close to the board,post a pledge,join in on the fun..... You can do it.....
