Here, and back home, again! No more junk food for quite awhile!!
  4. No smoking for me...
  5. uh oh....
  6. Honestly, I do not miss HAT, because of the way he has behaved the last couple of times he has dropped by. He has dive-bombed the board with one controversial post to stir it up...then gone again. When or if he chooses to take life or his responsibilities seriously...I will be glad to see him and his humor, again... I do miss TAC, and am worried about him...
  7. very well said...I would go as far as succinct..

    Wine Gripe

:gagging-928: ...do they still make that stuff?
  9. Wonderful! (just checking...you know this designation is not permanent? guessing it is just while the world is upside down?)
  10. This is still making me laugh...when I think Paul...I do not know why this is so funny!

    Wine Gripe

Had you just bought it? Was it spoiled or you just hated it? I Funny story...friend of mine bought a case of wine (I think it had turned)... they could not drink it, but she kept trying to cook with it...kept throwing away good food after bad wine...
  12. Please tell us more about being the smartest human.....
  13. Well that was almost a wine through the nose moment!!! Love it!!
  14. Excellent point!!
  15. I agree...how about you partner with the Sarge, and MQ can make us all coffee cups that say... "Embrace the Suck and Feel the Heal!!"
  16. Oh, my precious baby!! Brought tears to my eyes he is so gorgeous...and what a personality, already!!
  17. Susana, I am usually a softie...but for God's sake cut the crap and just put down the damn cigarettes! It does not require self- reflection, posting from a dark place or a unicorn's butt...just put down the damn cigarettes! You have tried every method known to man...so let's try this one...just don't smoke! No excuses...I have listened to you talk the talk for over a year...how about just walking the walk? Just don't smoke!!
  18. I want to quit but...what on earth will I do with the $260 a month savings? Not to mention the $50.00 a month savings on life insurance? And what in God's name will I do with all the time on my hands? Won't I miss the stench, the dry skin and people avoiding me? How about that hacking cough that wakes me up at night? How about if I just drag this out until it is too late?
  19. One month is fabulous! Don't miss your party in the Celebration Forum!
  20. Update...they decided we were having too much fried food...so we are ditching the catfish and going for pizza...
  21. Ross, you are such a wonderful friend and such a great supporter of the Fall 2013 quitters and everyone here. Your kindness, humor and generosity are a wonderful gift to this board. Thank you so much for all you do, and congratulations on 11 wonderful months!!
  22. Welcome, Jeffrey! Knowing that all one cigarette does is set up craving for the next one has helped me! Not One Puff Ever!!
  23. Sammie, so glad you are feeling strong...please stay close by for awhile...just in case...or to help others...
  24. Oh, Marti!!! You had me at "hello"...love you so much. You bring courage, humor and truth to the board...so happy to celebrate your 6 months!!
  25. Some of you do not know me well...I am blessed to have healthy (for now) parents who are 96 and 90...I treasure them...I am visiting for the weekend, and the menu plan is below. Mom and Dad are so funny..we are having junk food weekend..it may kill us all, but they just have people to drive to the grocery, not for junk food...so here is our menu... lunch today...Taco Bell dinner.....Kentucky Fried Chicken breakfast tomorrow...McDonald's lunch....Dairy Queen 5 buck lunch that includes chili cheese dog, fries, drink and sundae dinner...off to restaurant for fried catfish, white beans, french fries, corn bread Wish us luck!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
