    Wine Gripe

Had you just bought it? Was it spoiled or you just hated it? I Funny story...friend of mine bought a case of wine (I think it had turned)... they could not drink it, but she kept trying to cook with it...kept throwing away good food after bad wine...

  7. Susana, I am usually a softie...but for God's sake cut the crap and just put down the damn cigarettes! It does not require self- reflection, posting from a dark place or a unicorn's butt...just put down the damn cigarettes! You have tried every method known to man...so let's try this one...just don't smoke! No excuses...I have listened to you talk the talk for over a year...how about just walking the walk? Just don't smoke!!
  8. I want to quit but...what on earth will I do with the $260 a month savings? Not to mention the $50.00 a month savings on life insurance? And what in God's name will I do with all the time on my hands? Won't I miss the stench, the dry skin and people avoiding me? How about that hacking cough that wakes me up at night? How about if I just drag this out until it is too late?
  9. One month is fabulous! Don't miss your party in the Celebration Forum!

  15. Some of you do not know me well...I am blessed to have healthy (for now) parents who are 96 and 90...I treasure them...I am visiting for the weekend, and the menu plan is below. Mom and Dad are so funny..we are having junk food weekend..it may kill us all, but they just have people to drive to the grocery, not for junk food...so here is our menu... lunch today...Taco Bell dinner.....Kentucky Fried Chicken breakfast tomorrow...McDonald's lunch....Dairy Queen 5 buck lunch that includes chili cheese dog, fries, drink and sundae dinner...off to restaurant for fried catfish, white beans, french fries, corn bread Wish us luck!!

  20. Oops indeed! Honestly, the only way I can get 5 in a week is to have this three days a week for lunch...with laughing cow cheese on a bagel thin...toasted.. then we have tilapia one night, and flounder another... I fail more often than I succeed (for five meals, anyway) but I know I am doing better!
  21. Nom Nom Nom!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
