  8. That's right folks! 74th anniversary of D-Day today, June 6, 2018. Allied forces assault on Nazi Germany that helped turned the tide of WWII but at a horrendous cost in human lives. Proud to be Canadian today as we gave 5,000 lives that day and another 14,000 casualties in the pursuit of the freedoms we all enjoy today! Well done lads! May you rest in peace now and forever and, thank you for your ultimate sacrifice.

  21. I would just set a good example by staying quit and perhaps casually mention, from time to time, how much better you feel about yourself since you quit and how much easier it is to resist the urge to smoke now that you have been quit for some time. Be subtle about it but plant the thought. I wouldn't say anything at the time they are going out for a smoke or after they return. That never works and just causes friction.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
