  4. When I was a smoker, there was never a time I didn't have a coffee in my hands. When I quit, I cut back quite bit to only one. I associated coffee with smoking. Once I became more comfy with my quit, it gradually increased. Last October, I found myself with a concussion and post-concussive syndrome which requires me to take medication daily that for some reason makes me wake up repeatedly through the night. I still drink coffee, but stop caffeine after 2pm. It hasn't made any difference, but I'm being patient and hoping it eventually will.

  9. Today, 60 minutes Boxing and Conditioning and TRX training 45 minutes :)
  10. Lisa, I am having a serious problem with my feet, extreme pain every time my feet hit the ground. I've tried all sort of inserts to no avail. I had to sit down in the middle of my boxing class today when we were doing a cardio drill that involved a lot of back and forth jumping. A lady at my gym suggested I go to The Walking Company to have my feet evaluated. I went today and walked over their computerized mat and got myself a pair of custom inserts that I can put in any shoes. I am impressed.   13. The seat you get use to or you can buy a gel seat. If you continue, I highly recommend spin shoes. Jumps are my favorite part :)

  16. Spinning is as hard or as easy as you make it, if you are sore you can still get a workout in or you can go and kick your own butt :) My son is going w/my mother to her gym for a spin class tomorrow, now that is going to be interesting.

  22. Michelle, Something that can be helpful is to be proactive and think of any difficult situations that might make you vulnerable to the addiction. Finishing tasks were a big one for me, when I quit I would pop a piece of gum in my mouth instead of smoking. Chew gum, drink water or do the chicken dance. It doesn't matter, as long as it works. Anything is better than smoking :)
