  7. Vent all you want, Feely. Do whatever you need to do as long as you don't smoke. You are making it through the roughest days and it does get easier. You should be proud of yourself. You are doing a great thing by quitting smoking. Do what you need to do as long as you keep the quit.
  8. NOPE - Smoking sucks.
  9. It is nice to see you, Nina. :) Congratulations on 3 months smoke free!
  10. I do remember that cruise lines commercial. Weird stuff. Do you remember when HP used the Violent Femmes song Blister in the Sun to sell their laptops? They had to know what that song was about. This is the only version I could find (but I didn't look very hard). https://youtu.be/smRt9V7mNG0

  15. Smoking definitely isn't going to help your asthma...or anything else. Keep up the good fight, Evelyn. You are going to quit smoking for good this time.

  20. ...and you can kill off nicotine's butt, Evelyn. That is the right attitude. We all know that quitting can be tough but all of us will tell you that life is better as a non-smoker and that the rough early days are worth it. Stick close to this board and reach out whenever you need help. You can definitely do this.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
