  4. Realized it was my anniversary, and thought I’d say Hi. 4 years smoke free. Occasionally, I think about smoking, but never seriously consider lighting up. This is my 2nd try at quitting. I had stopped for about 8 years and a bad romance had me lighting up after that long. So, we are never really safe, or cured, just recovering, like any addict. I remain passionate about my hobbies, and I’ve been shooting hoops. CC, who literally shares my name has inspired me. I’ve become pretty accurate from 20 feet. That’s impressive for an old lady. My husband and I put together a nice set up in the driveway, which is oversized. He gives me advice and we both mess around for fun and exercise. We are avid Fever Fans. Hope everyone is sticking with the program. Just wanted to say, “Hey!” Kat

  8. I had to google this. The name of the town was sadly changed to Fugging in 2021. Apologies to anyone offended.

  10. Congrats on Day 34 (now 35?)! Nobody told me that it would be easy when I quit, only that it was very doable and worth every moment of angst I had in the beginning. I want to reassure you that no matter how much you are struggling now that it won't always be that way for you if you just keep moving forward smoke free. Never another Day 1 through Day 35 for you! Keep going!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
