  3. NOPE! Things have super stressful here lately, but I still wouldn't trade all my progress for even a whiff of a cigarette. Don't want it, don't need it, not ever.

  15. I still get one or two smoking dreams per year: they're incredibly distressing to me, and they tend to ruin a day or two for me. I've come to the conclusion that these have nothing to do with smoking; instead, I see them as manifestations of broader anxieties about "failure," feeling like an imposter, etc. To have resumed smoking is just my brain's most powerful expression of those anxieties. But they still suck. Christian99 23+ Years Quit

  16. Thank you! Funny how our perception changes isn't it? When I was a smoker, I couldn't imagine ever quitting whereas now that I've been quit for a number of years, I can't imagine why I ever smoked all those years Celebrating with a spa day! Oh wait ... are they really just boiling me for dinner

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
