  3. I'm getting excited about a new job I have accepted and will start a new chapter on January 29th. I have accepted a job with Spectrum cable working in a call center helping people with their cable, wifi or internet issues. I decided on this new direction because I need a better work and life balance.

  5. Quit buddies are so important, at least they were for me You guys should REALLY look into making yourself a ticker for your signature. Aren't you at all curious at all the money and cigarettes NOT smoked you've saved in just a week quit? I was and I still love mine

  17. There's an apartment complex near my work. They leave a lot of furniture out by the road for pick up. I don't know what goes on in there, but they're hard on furniture. If I see anything that looks promising, I'll grab it and go. Frame looks good. Three cushions and a bit of upholstery work and this thing's good to go...

  18. Aw thanks, Jillar! I am feeling tons better today. Doctor said I had exacerbated COPD. Gave me a shot in the butt and 5 days of prednisone and an antibiotic. Breathing much better and less wheeze and cough. Looking forward to that improving over the next few days. I'm still a non smoker! Day 7!! Still getting regular cravings but shifting thought process and tasks and moving thru them.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
