  1. It's a thin line between grab ass and pickpocketing. Yeah, well, I hate to brag but...I have shoes and indoor plumbing! I'm kind of a big deal.

  4. I am not the emperor or even the queen of Scotland (burritto).not the boss(mq) joker (booger) or his sidekick (sqealer). I never dated Elvis (nancy) or hung with the kinks (horneytoad) I have some eggs (secret ones too Ginger) and I have a few closer friends (smarti, pepe, babbles, Bigfoot and fancy shoes,) on Buddybook. I qualify myself as a reporter/pervert like Charlie Rose, hanging with the chicks and grabbing ass. So I don't give the official State of the Union, just my view/opinion. The Wall is not working. seen Canadians in here, a pervert from Aruba and yesterday a Mexican was tagging threads. Agricultural/economy...The economy is ok, Sgt growing food cause he is cheap is all. Rest of us doing good. Dept of Education/ information is strong. All the newbies getting good advise and even jetblacking it back to others FBI and other secret groups still operating....female body inspector meathead and pervert from Aruba posting chicks Law enforcement slacking...chicks cheating all over. They like to call it corrections but really education is to blame for them not being able to count and then other one "helps" them by adding g more numbers Interior/transportation ok- bat driving the train and Jimmy on the steering wheel of the bus. Fresh flavor applied to the the Windows for the lickers. Labor- idiot in Ohio still hasn't figured out how to retire and enjoy the mustang....brain fried dog spending his time searching porn. Social disruption/security...who knows. Both political sides so far left and right...you would think a moderate in the middle would be best but too much concentration on ass grabbing currently. The foreign Corp....still deciphering the Islanders jibberish. That job sucks sweat of pork belly pig balls. Future planning....trip to New Orleans via redneckville. Hitting the Carolinas, Tenn, Alabama, Miss, La and the rest of the confederate banjo playing shoeless states. Hope to see one girl with shoes and maybe another member during . (Met that short shit cheater in Georgia last trip And smarti the time before, meathead blows me off every trip so that jerk is out) And now the picture of the year and the next post will be the trip pic. Feel free to add your own outlook.

  5. Yep it’s not been easy, but not been too hard. To be fair the hardest time is this evening for some reason, knowing I am only couple hours away from my 3 weeks. But don’t worry there is absolutely no way on earth this quit is being ruined . I live about 5 miles from nearest shop, so my tactic is to have a few drinks when I have a craving as there is no way I can get to buy smokes. Where I live the tolerance for drink driving is zero, get caught it’s furstky jail and then deportation. ! Life over

  6. There must be more than 10,000 cigarettes. To be fair thats only 50 cartons of 200. If you look at the height of the girl compared with the tank then there s definitely more than 10,00 cigarettes! BTW 3 weeks today for me and going strong!

  12. Sorry you are having such a rough time and you are way to young to be chronically sick you didn't specify what you suffer from. Are you illness heredity? Maybe you can find a support group for your illness sometimes just knowing their are other people who suffer the same disease helps. This is a good place to chat and come for support keep NOT smoking it will get better.

  20. Yes quitting is not pleasant for most of us Arynn, particularly in the early days. It's not just the physical addiction to nicotine but also the mental part of the addiction. As you say, you used smoking yourself as a support for so many other issues in your life that were difficult. In reality, smoking does nothing to help any problems we have it just adds to our problems. Smoking is an addiction and the only thing smoking a cigarette does is feeds that addiction. You feel good once it's fed but only temporarily until your body craves nicotine again in an hour or so. Learn to separate smoking and any problems you might have. Smoking will do nothing to fix any of those. Please read all you can here about this addiction. Education is an important tool in fighting this addiction. Have a look at all the "pinned" posts on the Quit Smoking Discussion Page. They are all there at the top of the page with a green pin to the left of each post. Please also keep yourself well hydrated. Drink lots of water and fruit juice in the early days. I can tell you that no one has ever died from quitting smoking, as unpleasant as it might be. I can't say the same for those who choose to continue smoking! The unpleasant part of quitting will not last forever and when you do get through the tough part, you will be so much better off and will have one LESS problem in your life to deal with. Stick around here and let us help you through this

  21. Some of those are side effects of quitting smoking. What you describe though sounds extreme. You are probably going to have to see a doctor about this though. Five years seems a while to be sick. Has your illness hurt worse since quitting? About the first three days quit - supposedly those are the hardest but I imagine that is wishful thinking of a lot of brand new quitters. My worst days didn't come til a couple weeks into it. I understand about losing a parent or loved one. That grief can go on for months. So what you can do for now to address the smoking issue - first, do not have any smokes handy and try to get rid of other temptations like having ash trays around. Try to remember that buying them is NOT going to help your money problems. Plus, even if smoking would temporarily mask whatever pain you have, eventually you would have to "pay the piper" for smoking. There are a few here who have experienced that. Like the doctor telling them, "Quit or die".

  22. Our bodies are thrown into chaos....its been used to being fed poisions 20 or times a day... I'm sorry you are feeling so bad...it's still very early...make sure you look after you...sleep,eat ,drink fruit juice... I smoked 52 years...now can you imagine my poor body...it went berserk.... Please read all you can here...it will keep you busy ...and learn a lot... I'm sorry for your loss...you are still grieving...please seek your doctor's advice ,if your symptoms persist...just to get your self checked out...x

  24. Thanks everyone! There are no words to really describe the gratitude I have for this forum, and the list of people I have to thank for my quit success is too long to even attempt for fear of leaving someone out. All I can offer in th way of advice for any newbie, is to stick with it! It is NEVER easy in the beginning...anyone who says it is is full of *%+{{ they came to a quit smoking forum for support in their quit, so it obviously is a struggl early on...I WILL say,my hat looking back, it wasn't near as bad as I had envisioned it to be when I made to decision to quit.... Just keep moving through the bad times, and the good time start to outweigh them real,fast.... again, Thanks everyone..everyone here is GREAT!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
