Featured Replies

at last a date! hopefully at least now you know the date you can get things in place and relieve some of the stress xx

That's Great news Doreen!

Finally ..... and now you can soon give the boot to beetroot! You must surely have had your fill of that stuff :)

That is wonderful news!  Finally!

Good riddance to bad organs.

And I'm off to buy stock in the Liverpool sausage market.  The Toad is on the road back and there's a bull market right around the corner.

Viva la Doorbell!

Did someone say ........... "sausage"?

If you have not been able to eat it in a while, won't it be kind of difficult or nauseating at first?

All I am saying is - The first couple, take it easy and once you know you can handle it -

TEAR THAT SHIT UP!

You know though - I think our favorite foods in life are WAY more addictive than our stupid cigarettes ever were.

Good riddance.

My wife had hers removed years ago. She can’t eat eggs. She loves eggs. Whether or not it has anything to do with her gallbladder, we don’t know. They upset her stomach for about eight hours if she eats them.

You will be happy to be rid of the pain that gallbladder causes Doreen! Today the surgery is SO much easier....very happy you will soon be rid of those nasty gallbladder attacks! ?

  • 1 month later...

Best wishes that your surgery tomorrow is quick & easy :) There will be a bit of recovery time but you'll be so much better off once you're able to eat normal stuff again!! I bet you're looking forward to that :D

We'll be thinking of you!  Prayers for quick healing!

Thinking of you Doreen! Hope that date with your Surgeon goes well & that pesky gallbladder will be gone for good. ?

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!:12_slight_smile:

Don't laugh....it hurts to laugh!

Thank you all so much for your well wishes... Iwas very touched..but...I received a phone call today at 4 pm .it has been CANCELLED  until 23 rd March...

My emotions were all over the place..angry ,sad,..I was all prepared in my head for this...plus been in pain for days...I am gutted...

I have explained my position about Nicky being home ,as her dad needs a carer...booking they don't cancel again...

I'll be back tomorrow...xxx

Oh Doreen I'm so sorry for his delay. Not sure how it works ova there but having a chat to your local member can help this not happen again. Fingers crossed it's all over soon.

you know though, being doctors, they would have went ape shit if YOU needed to reschedule due to something personal.

There are certain jobs where you can treat your customers like they do not matter and get away with it. Land lord, doctor, department of motor vehicles, probably others.

But yes, you have every right to be pissed off.

Is your daughter going to be able to stick around a couple extra weeks?

Doggone it Doreen.....sorry for your delay. Think of you and sending good wishes.
