New Orleanians brought the protests up to the river for a voodoo Healing Ceremony in the full eclipsing moon. LOVE this city.

June 7, 20206 yr Hubby just got a text that the second wave of covid is starting and to stay home with the doors locked in case of looters! We knew it was coming since the numbers of cases rose so much in just one day. We had a bunch of people here yesterday and the next door neighbor had a party! I've decided to accept whatever fate has in store for me as I can't keep ragging daily about these idiots who think staying away from me and not my hubby won't infect me 😠

I have not let anyone in my place since lockdown began, what's it been now...almost three months? I have also not been in anyone else's place during that time period. During visits with family and friends, we stay outside and keep our distance. So sorry that you have to deal with this crap, Jillar. It must be very stressful for you.
June 11, 20206 yr Well, we decided to get away from the idiots. They did open up camping in Ohio. We took the rv and stayed in a State Park. It was very peaceful and nice. We got back yesterday. Unfortunately our air conditioning went out while we were gone and we have been in the 90s. My husband got it working again and before we could cool the house, we were hit with a whopper storm and lost power. They are saying it will be off for two day. We are now sleeping in the RV in our driveway!
