August 18, 201511 yr Got home from work and hubs told me he had to put whiskers down....the vet said he thinks he had a stroke sometime last night...hubs said he wasnt acting right all day so brought him in. He was 13 years old...I am sad my husband is broken up...he takes pet loss very hard plus he is the cat person and it was his cat. It does suck to lose a pet and whiskers was a cool cat.

August 19, 201511 yr Well that is sad,sad news. Losing a pet you've had for yrs is like cutting a piece of your heart out.
August 19, 201511 yr I'm so sorry to hear this Lisa... It's true that us guys are not very good at pet loss... Im so sorry this had to happen. RIP Whiskers, I'm sure he will make a whole bunch of friends in kitty heaven.

August 21, 201511 yr Author Any pic from whisker's younger days? sorry took a bit was on call at work sassy (white with black spots) and whiskers both are now passed we had to put sassy down over a year ago
August 22, 201511 yr I like to joke about disliking cats but some cats are very cool & cute. Their eyes are so crazy in this picture - sometimes I really believe that cats are aliens.
