February 10, 201511 yr Welcome BatGirl... congrats on the best decision. Quitting sucks... it is hard... and it sucks and it is hard...and it sucks..... but soon...before you know it... poof... easy peasy. The payoff from this quitting smoking thing is amazing. Even after 2 years...I still see different benefits. You are doing great... keep on keepin on.
February 10, 201511 yr Hey batgirl, welcome!! I remember the discomfort. We all do. But listen, the hard bit is done! The choice has been made and all we have now is thoughts and feelings of times we would smoke. Sometimes that feels difficult, sometimes it's easier but you made a great choice! Read up, it will help you to try and flip your mindset a little as you never chose to be addicted to smoking but that's what happened...now you choose to get free of that and this was something you could control and do. Massive congrats on your quit to date. x
February 10, 201511 yr Welcome Batgirl - it's always good to get some fellow NY/NJ people on this train -I am originally from Brooklyn and DD is also a native - you will see her a lot on here. Anyway, congrats on your decision - you have already done the hard part - it gets easier everyday! Once you figure out this board it gets easy to navigate. Pledge NOPE and play some games - that is the easiest way to get to know people - and if you are ever stuck reach out for help - there is always someone on here.
