Congratulations @zenith on being smoke free for 4 months.

Well done Zenith for being smoke free for 1/3 of a year. Hope things are settling down with the new job and you are having a blast living your smoke free life. Would be great if you could pop in with a update and let us know how you are rewarding yourself for being smoke free for 4 months.

Sorry to hear that zenith ? The best revenge for a break up is quitting smoking and getting healthy. Hopefully you'll get back to your quit sooner than later. Thanks for letting us know....

Thank you guys, this just happened today and I've been chain smoking.. no easing into it at all. I know I could and should make this my last pack, I dread starting to feel the physical effects again.. I've been working out since quitting and know I feel a million times better/healthier without it. Emotionally I was not doing as well though since quitting (it really was a coping mechanism) so that's something I need to address. I'll let you all know if I can stop again.

Well today is a new day and I haven't bought a pack. I might be going through withdrawal but (luckily?) I feel so terrible anyway I can't really tell. I know self-destructing is not going to help the situation.. And after the prolonged quit they didn't even taste the same or have the same appeal.

Lesson learned.  There is NO situation, reason, or excuse to start smoking again.  Glad you've come back.

Glad to see you back already zenith, you deserve it! And just remember when one door closes another one opens. As far as relationships, I learned a long time ago that if it was meant to be it would have been. You'll find your perfect someone when you least expect it, and you've just opened up the dating field to many more possibilities as an ex smoker :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
