For anyone else with a sweet tooth, I just had hb make this again, it's my new fave. Low fat apple crisp: 2 servings: 3 apples cored and peeled - need to be green apples Put 4 tbsps of water in sauce pan, add apples to water Sprinkle cinnamon over apples Cook over medium heat until it foams Reduce heat, stew on low, covered 10-15 min Add 2 tbsp. of fat free cool whip
  4. I've always had trouble sleeping. When I was a smoker, my mind would race about how I'm killing myself, to the point of mini panic attacks. I discovered something several weeks ago, after my eye surgery, when I couldn't see to do much. YouTube sleep meditations. There are several on there. They work quite well.
  5. I agree ! Anyone else on iPad and can't post pics or smilies?
  6. You guys are a crack up
  7. Love this. If I don't take 800 mg ibuprofen start to finish I'm in so much pain I can hardly walk. But if I take those pills, it's like nothing. No pain, nada.

  10. Can I start the celebration thread early? Because I just wanted to say man in skirt. For real though, thanks for all the laughs and inspiration.

  12. If I didn't already have it, I'd be raising a hand big time. Lurrrve this book

  14. Well done Paula! Congrats to you
  15. I have this phobia I think: Voice Mail Phobia When you are literally scared to death to check your voice mail because you feel you are certain there is bad news in your voice-mail you do not want to hear or do not want to confront.

Oysters Justin Bieber or One Direction?
  17. HM just saw this. Sorry you are feeling kind of crap de la crap. I am having a week like that myself. Hey, at least you have a hot tub, right? :)
  18. Ugh, I stayed away from alcohol for quite a while when I quit, as to me they went hand in hand. All is not lost by any means!! We can still do this. It's not the end of the world, it just drags out the quitting process, and I want you to get going so that you can start enjoying the fruits of your efforts.
  19. I refuse to wear lip gloss. Ever. The way it feels sticky bothers me so much.
  20. I missed this until just now. Marti your emotions are totally normal. You handled it so well. One more success for you in the books. Each one makes us stronger. I want to thank you for posting that because this thread will help others when they struggle too.

Blue water! Flare leg or skinny jeans
  22. Trish! You are tough and gorgeous and funny. I'm sorry life is sucking lately. Seems like there is just not enough fun in this world. But you deserve all the good goings that go with not smoking. Back on the horse, missy!
  23. I know exactly what you are going through!! But you and I know, smoking doesn't really help anything. It just makes everything a hundred times worse. I have felt lately like I just want something, anything, to make me 'feel better.' Smoking used to do that because we were physically addicted. In order for it to make us 'feel better' again, we have to smoke several and get physically addicted again. Again, like putting on the tight shoes just to have the relief of taking them off. So! While I know completely what you mean, it's not worth it in any way. Of course we worry about you! You are a lovely thing.
  24. Thanks TAC! :)
