  1. 10 months! I love it. Great job dear Pippa. Very happy for you!
  2. Oh my goodness, I must have rocks in my head, I missed this! Well done and congrats! You are doing amazing, you gorgeous thing.
  3. Nope! It's raining and I'm not out it in burning my life savings away.
  4. Petra you are so tough it's hard to think of you ever having to fight craves anymore. You have helped me stay strong throughout too, and I'm thankful.
  5. We put this up on our fridge when I lived in the dorms to try and help us quit smoking. Jeez! 19 and already hooked.
  6. Could you take the kids to lunch and movies and send her to get a mani pedi? I mean, Frozen is not still in the theaters, so this will all be dependent on if you would be willing to watch a movie other than Frozen. :scratch_one-s_head:
  7. With the difference in the times zones Sue's AMA?
  8. Would you ever live anywhere besides England? What is your least favorite chore? Do you believe in ghosts or aliens? Does your SO?
  9. What is your favorite book? Is your free time do you prefer to stay busy or relax? How / why did you learn to speak English so well?
  10. What do you like better? The Walking Dead or 24?
  11. I smoked Marlboro light 100's. I wished I could get all that money back. It seems like a million years ago, yet for so long I was such a slave to it. What about you Jingle?
  12. What would be your dream job? What is your favorite desert? Do you consider yourself more funny or serious in real life?
  13. OMG Tiff that is hilarious. :girl_haha:
  14. What do you do for a living? Do people in England really call a vacay "mini break"? Do you prefer mani's or Pedi's? What is your fave perfume? Is Hugh Laurie as popular there as his in the states? Have you seen this bird before?
  15. Favorite book Candide!! Color me impressed. I could never get into Voltaire. I did, however play a substantial role in getting a grant awarded to a publishing house I interned at, mainly for getting canonized philosophers digitalized. Voltaire was one of the focus points. I lean more towards the Molière school of thought. :buba: ;) I have wanted to see Twelve Angry Men - Allen Carr makes reference to it in his book. Do you prefer MN or miss LA?
  16. Do you like shrimp?
  17. I would like to be, but I'm now a strict Folgers drinker. I do the instant decaf on occasion as well. :to_pick_ones_nose: No, only in public. There is someone at my work that blows his nose all the time extremely loud. I think he is trying to impress us, and it's working. :yu: I like the stair stepper because I can watch Netflix while still getting a decent work out. I do not like push ups and lateral raises. :this:
  18. Great job! Proud of you Evelyn. :good3:
  19. There are good qualities I think about many brands of color. I am currently using CND 'stickey' anchoring base coat, seche top coat (which I quite like) and "just busta mauve" opi by Nicole color
  20. Yes and sort of on Menudo. I still like One Direction and that sort of thing, so I suppose old habits die hard.
  21. It was a boy, of course. 2 years prior he'd spent a summer promoting Up With People in my hometown. He was quite a bit older than me when we met (I was 16 I think he was 23, his name was Philipe). So we had a long distance lurve affair and I went to visit for a week over Christmas when I was a senior in high school. Obviously, we did not end up together.
  22. Do you like your job? Do you like the movie "so I married an axe murderer"?
  23. Evelyn, remember, if you ride this out, it gets easier and easier! I don't promise much in life, but I promise that. We are rooting for you! You have a bunch of people out here globally that are your own personal cheer group :) Spicy cinnamon gum seems to have a bit of a kick to it that helps me to this day.
  24. Are you often told you look like Liev Schreiber? Do you think he is a good actor? Don't you think his wife is pretty?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
