Tonight before you go to sleep think of something that makes you smile there is always something no matter how bad your day may have been you will sleep better you will feel better once you wake up and you will face your new day with a positive mind Not all storms come to disrupt your life some come to clear your path
  2. @Kris I agree with katgirl I to lost my husband several years ago. The loss of a loved one is very hard!!! But you have grand kids who I am sure love there grandma. Please reach out for help,you don't have to do this alone. I have lost two sisters, two brother in-laws , mother and father and friends I have a very close friend fighting a terminal illness in the hospital right now. Life sucks sometimes but I am sure our loved ones would want us to be happy. So I have crappy days also, I feel your pain. I also live alone and I have a dog also.So hang in there you are not alone!!!

  4. @Kris Yes like Jillar said prop your feet up, you should cut back on the salt intake. Hopefully you can get to the doctor tomorrow
  5. @Kris Wow you have a rough time!! This is the place to be!! Lots of support and great people!! You are doing awesome!!! I quit for health reasons also. I have the beginnings of emphysema also so I need to make this quit stick
  6. @Steven Drojensky I'm glad your doing better today. Yes COPD for me also and emphysema so yes the smoking needs to stop! We can do this!!!
  7. @Opah I know exactly what your saying!!! I have a person in my life like that, your so right you can't help someone that doesn't want help. I know the serenity prayer well!!! I just finished a zoom Al-Anon open speaker meeting. That's how I save my serenity.

  12. @Gus You are doing awesome!! 100 days is great!!! You amaze me your positive attitude is great! I sure did not have that in my early quit. Some days I still don't!! Good luck with the job hunting. I'm sure you will do great!

To that one soul reading this I know you're tired you're fed up your close to breaking but there's strength within you even when you feel weak keep fighting!!!! You have got this!!!!!

  22. Good for you posting the SOS. Don't give in to the crave!!! Yoh have to keep yourself busy. I have been there and you do not want to keep going through hell week. You can do this I have faith in you. Reach out and vent on here if you need to!!! Just don't smoke!!!
