  1. Hi Dianne! Hope you decide to hang in here cuz there's tons of great info. here on quitting and nicotine addiction itself. Having a group of other quitters to relate to is a great support as well. Have a look around the site and make use of the helpful information to improve your future!

  3. I was just posting about this in the Curse thread @Abby. It's bad lately in the southern Ont area and many other areas across Canada. You're right. More vaccines in arms asap is what's needed. We all thought we'd be in a lot better position now even new years day 2021. Been a disappointing start but hopefully a happier ending to 2021?

  20. This statement is important - very important! Recognizing the benefits of quitting and focusing on them, rather than lamenting the fact you no longer smoke is what successful quitters do. Focus on your future possibilities, not you addictive past.
  21. It's an up and down journey Gus, especially in the early days (first month or so). These ups and downs will continue for awhile but they become less and less intense as time goes by so hang in there. The magic is happening for you right now, even though you may not realize it at the moment. Trust the process and keep fighting. You're getting there, slowly but surely You're doing great and are right on track to a lifetime of freedom from this despicable addiction.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
